Seems serious. “…guilty of contempt or indicted for a crime.”
O.K. Contempt means (usually I think) failure to comply with an Order from a Judge. If that was the deal…what was the Order?
If a bench warrant was issued as an indictment for a crime…what was the crime? And again, why have Islanders never heard anything about this business?
“What business…,” you might ask? Which brings me to this short article.
I have nothing left to say other than the question of whether something in the non-watery “fishy” department may be happening with the department of fisheries Minister.
I know no more than you do…or what you will know, after reading the exchange between Paul Maines and Jeffrey Warren Reynolds (JR) that was filed in the PEI Supreme Court last week – with a once-removed ‘third-party’ role played by Jordan Brown as well (JR sent Maines numerous messages from Brown, which would then be discussed in subsequent FB messages or texts).
Read the exchanges, and if you happen to be a Fox constituent, and then happen to bump into him, ask him: “Hey…you ever get a Bench Warrant we never heard about?”
Former PC Party Executive member (during the last leadership race until the candidates [me included] were “vetted”, then she resigned to become Dennis King’s Campaign Manager).
In his Affidavit filed with the initial court Motion for a document preservation Order, Private Investigator Derrick Snowdy sworn that he was told by an employee of Simms Restaurant that it was MAW who picked up the tab for those allegedly attending the “Gamesys” proposal meeting at Simms.
“BLOYCE” – Hon. Bloyce Thompson, Minister of Agriculture and Land, and Attorney General for PEI.
There are two paragraphs in Maines’ Affidavit related to this matter of the Bench Warrant that was apparently issued against Hon. Jamie Fox, and then ignored by him.
Hmmm… I wonder if Stewart McKelvey DID have some role in the whole thing…..[whatever that WHOLE THING was].
DON’T KNOW. CAN’T SAY….It’s all hearsay at this stage of the game, until recess is over and the kids go back to court, or at least Cross-examinations.
But just this once…just this once……I’LL SPECULATE. If there was a warrant, the reason we never heard about it probably has to do with some kind of fancy disappearing act made possible by the Attorney General’s Attorney General wizardry:
That trick apparently takes a LOT of concentration as you can see from Bloyce’s expression….and EVERYONE – ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE – has to REMAIN COMPLETELY QUIET!!!!
