I received this short video clip (7) Facebook a little while ago that was taken inside the Toronto airport last night as Buddhist nuns lined up to board a flight to Charlottetown, with a short message:

“Someone I know was at the airport coming home to PEI tonight. Lots of monks [sic] arriving to PEI tonight…That’s in Toronto flying into PEI late tonight”

I slowed the clip down to 30%…it was waaaaaay too quick a sweep to digest what it shows to get the impact it deserves. It’s not exactly the Mexican-US border, still…

TRIVIA QUESTION:

Are these nuns from Taiwan, or are they communist citizens streaming here from China, perhaps via Taiwan and the monastery there belonging to Bliss and Wisdom?

If you (or any other Islander) can’t answer that question…well, that could be a problem for us down the road!

The saying goes, “Beware Greeks bearing gifts” but really, any nationality with tyrannical inclinations can be safely inserted and that’s saying I think.

They don’t need to hide in a wooden horse because we don’t even know who they are, why they’re here, or even what country they’re from!

No point telling Islanders to wake up anymore either…too late for that and it was never going to happen for “us”….just a few are awake and aware of what’s happening here, not just with monks and nuns, but that’s part of it for sure.

What of the rest of Islanders?

Sadly, it seems they’re happy to get a snapshot of smiling people they don’t know draped in uniform monk and nun garb standing out in a field of sunflowers for a promo pic, spouting virtue-signaling comments like “we’re so lucky to have the monks and nuns here filling out our diversity!” (whoever they are, wherever they’re from).
