How can a person be grateful after losing a job, health, or family members, especially because of decisions to stand up for basic human rights that suddenly were no longer respected and recognized by our elected leaders?

How can someone be grateful after learning his or her young child is psychologically sick and left confused and mentally distraught about “who they are” after being secretly indoctrinated by secular public officials who parents trusted to act in the best interest of the child? Officials who are going along with and participating in instilling an evil queer-trans ideological worldview embedded with a secular philosophy into impressional young minds that glorifies “self” and not God, while ignoring and subverting legally-instituted parental and guardian rights?

How can anyone be grateful about anything after discovering that they’ve been lied to every single day for over 3 years with a consistent but completely concocted chronicle about a counterfeit “need for needles” for a declared global pandemic?

What is there to be thankful for after believing and living lies about the need, the safety, and the effectiveness of needles, only to then learn the truth, and to now have to live with the troubling knowledge that what was injected was unnecessary, not a “v-accine” like those previously given as was told and sold to us, but rather, a concoction of dangerous and experimental biotechnological and nanotechnological products?

You can’t be thankful for any of that, and you shouldn’t be!

Nonetheless, we can be thankful, but that will depend on our response to what we are facing in today’s world and the fundamental nature of our choice….either :

(1) to run from awareness of evil in attempts to turn our attention away from the truth about the world in which we are presently living by regarding “celebrating” as doing all we possibly can to forget reality and to focus on enhancing personal pleasure (food, drink, entertainment):

or;

(2) to embrace a full and clear awareness of what is true and real, recognizing in that broad view the unique role we are personally called to play in this great final battle between good and evil underway, and to give thanks to God for being chosen to do battle for the good and His greater glory!

Thanksgiving should be a day for Christians to raise their minds and hearts to God the Father in thanksgiving for giving us His only begotten Son, born of the Virgin Mary in a stable in the little town of Bethlehem.

Thanksgiving should be a day when Christians raise their minds and hearts to God the Son thanking Him for taking upon Himself all the evil and hurt in the world caused by our disobedience to God (evils and hurt such as described above) all caused by sin reigning in the kingdom of this material world still for a time under the dominion of Satan. Which Jesus has overcome!

Thanksgiving should also be a day when Christians raise minds and hearts to God the Holy Spirit for sanctifying and empowering us to follow Jesus by embracing suffering joyfully, and for remaining faithful to testifying to and living the truth in obedience to God’s commands and most holy Will.

It is only because of that incomprehensible historical display of God’s own plan for a “Great Reset” that we can live in peace amidst all the evil and suffering we must endure.

And we can even do this with joy knowing that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus by testifying to the truth of evil in both us and the world without fear, trsting in God’s mercy and love revealed in Jesus and his sorrowful passion and death on a cross.

We offer others hope and healing in holiness when we publicly reject and expose the blindness and darkness now captivating so many minds and corrupting whole hordes of human hearts. That is happening with the almost-forcible imposition of selfish philosophies presented relentlessly as the new, dominant cultural and social norms we are expected to embrace, norms which are increasingly creating a state of lawlessness in society, shocking examples of which are evident within Canada daily.

You can be sure to have an authentically-happy Thanksgiving Holiday by taking time to show sincere appreciation to God for the TRUE blessings God gives us IN SALVATION IN JESUS. Then marvel with giddy delight at how you’ve been chosen by the Father for the Son, and how you have (by accepting and surrendering) been made holy and delivered to the Son by the Holy Spirit.

We can endure an evil day while living in a temporary kingdom that is evil because we await being glorified with Christ in His eternal kingdom that will have no end.

Scripture equates being “at peace” and “in joy” because our peace and our joy is God. You will be hard-pressed to find a page in the Bible where the need to give thanks to God – in all circumstances, including evil circumstances – isn’t mentioned in some respect.

Thanking God for all is to trust the wisdom of God in abandonment to His Will, and is the recipe for being at peace and in joy, despite suffering hurt, injustices and even persecutions. Here’s just a handful to ponder:

1 Chronicles 16:34: “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”

1 Timothy 4:4-5: “For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Colossians 3:16: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
