PREAMBLE

If you are among that still relatively small group of people reading my Daily Reflections, you will have noticed from time to time that I have made some statements about “what’s coming”. Some of you may have wondered, “what, now he thinks he’s a prophet?”

So just to clear up any confusion about that, I am.

As I pointed out in a previous reflection, we are all called to speak the words of truth that the Holy Spirit inspires us to speak, to build the Kingdom of God on earth, so in that sense, we are all prophets.

Some are called to do more of it, and spend more time doing the thinking, praying and work necessary to do more of it, and I’m among that relatively small group of people.

But it should be said that this is not my normal nor most comfortable style of writing as a researcher – I’m very attached to the confidence of having the assurance of “facts” and documentary evidence to back up my claims when I do make public statements on important matters.

So the increasingly prophetic style or element in my writings isn’t there from my natural inclinations; it’s there because it emerges and then I feel compelled to share.

IMAGINE THIS if you will”…….”Danger, Danger! DON’T DO IT!

I’ve been mentioning lately in my reflections how incredibly important it is, more NOW than ever, to stay out of our “imagination.”  To do that, we need to live in the moment, in the present “Presence” of God by making the continuous imitation of Jesus the objective of our interior mental goings on daily.

I haven’t gotten into the mechanics of that much yet, but feel I need to do so more, as I am both witnessing and experiencing a significant increase in people being attacked, and sadly too often, succumbing to the influence of evil and the evil manipulations of our consciousness by cowardly evil spirits hiding in the background of our imagination.

The result is too often impetuous, not-well-thought-out decisions, almost always involving “unbinding” and further divisions within relationships, both with people and social organizations (i.e., attending or not attending Church), often with spiritually-deadly consequences.

It is all fuelled by negative feelings and emotions that were “put in us” by the great deception, and are together creating an energy in us that we feel desperate to remove, and that makes us impatient, impetuous, and incredibly vulnerable.  More than ever, we should be waiting, rather than making decisions; praying, rather than talking, but alas…!

Today’s Gospel reading is therefore perfect  to get back to talking about how the “restrainer” on the devil has been lifted recently, and how that translates into the gates of Hell having been opened wide, as the earth has been flooded with a torrent of fear and despair through an orchestrated campaign to terrorize people, allowing very evil, unscientific, irrational policies to use that fear and SUSPICIONS to “unbind” the ties that bind us together in Jesus, living with His Spirit, not the spirit of fear:

“For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. So do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, or of me, His prisoner. Instead, join me in suffering for the gospel by the power of God.” [2 Timothy 7-9]

You’d think that people would realize that the devil’s tactics are pretty sophisticated and need to be understood and watched out for since they are said to be – BY JESUS – pretty darn successful in these end times. That makes me nervous, I don’t know about you.

So I want to understand and watch out for those signs, and I have studied what they are, and I do understand them, and what I see is ” A Field of Screams” [as opposed to a “Field of Dreams,” a good movie by Kevin Costner] with demonic entities now having a field day in people’s heads and relationships. Again, staying focussed on Jesus makes their influence evaporate – they have no access to the Heart of Jesus.

The very first definition found for “bind” in Merriam-Webster is: “bind: [verb] to make secure by tying.

When fear gives birth to suspicion, and you go into your imagination to search out whether there is any basis for your suspicion – WITHOUT ACTUALLY RELYING ON VERIFIABLE FACTS – it is very easy to be deceived into believing a theory. And this is how it usually happens:

You get hurt, or feel betrayed by someone you start thinking should never do that if they were being honest about caring about you, or if the relationship is more intimate, “loving” you.

You’re not stupid enough to believe the conclusions (which make prospects for that particular relationship not look too good for the future) but THEN [And this is the part where the “deception” from entities in the spiritual realm influences and interfering with us, that our culture wants us to believe don’t exist, comes into play] a very RELIABLE person comes along, surreptitiously,  and out of the blue says something that makes you suddenly decide that your “hypothetical” conclusion that explains the hurt or betrayal or whatever is true, your suspicion is justified, and then  a decision is made to withdraw or end the relationship.

Yet THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF THAT TRUTH, just a default to the power of ‘two witnesses’ – the problem being there, that neither have the authority of truth, and we forget when we hear the ‘second’ testimony supporting our hypothetical, that our hypothetical is imaginary and not real,  having no authority.

Murderer. That’s one name for Satan that Jesus uses, because he is a murderer – that’s his goal, to murder love with hate, to kill love by tearing apart the connections that bind us together in love. And that murder starts with lies:

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” [John 8:44]

Pope John Paul shocked a few when he came out against “gossiping” as “murdering” but I yelled “yeah! Go Francis” when I read that!

Prophecy is a gift from God that people don’t ask for, they just receive, if they are open to it. If you pray for it, you’ll receive it, because God wants us to build each other up and give every good thing, and prophecy is a good thing, something we can easily forget comes to us through other people usually, although sometimes directly from God, and to others, we are part of that “other people” equation.

Those who have received words to edify or warn or help people prepare are therefore compelled to follow God’s call to share those prophetic messages. That’s why I started these daily reflections, and that’s why I keep them going, which I can assure you, if it was up to me….

At any rate, that little prep because what I see happening compels me to say that I now have a very strong sense that things are far more imminent with respect to that moment when people are either “in the ark” or not in the ark, for lots of reasons I’ll not mention except one, that directly connects to today’s Gospel and what I’m saying about the restrainer being lifted on the devil, and how I see the power of that deception intensifying and spiritually-derailing people who appeared to be very strong in their faith.

In every instance – there have been many that have been shared with me and others I have been involved in myself in various relationships – all follow exactly the same pattern of suspicion, concoction of theory in one’s imagination that just “may be” true; then some “confirmation” that comes not as evidence, but it looks so much like evidence, and there is such an impulsive urge not to have to “add anything else” to pile of anxiety, fear and stress, that people all over the place are making impulsive decisions that result in major breaches in, or the ending of, long-standing loving relationships.

I don’t want to paint a completely black picture at all:  the opposite of what I’m discussing here is also happening, with the formation of new spiritual relationships and littel communities, still mostly online, but now talking about how virtual communities can become real communities where people can see one another face to face and touch one another.

But that’s not the focus of this reflection, but rather, the great danger I see in coming weeks for people and the need to take extra measures to combat that – measures I myself am adopting, i.e. saying the Divine Chaplet of Mercy and Rosary more often and at least daily; attending Mass whenever possible; etc.

We need to be all about ‘binding’ and that takes the witness of two or three people, and that means we can not allow BigTech or our own pastors to continue to keep us from gathering together in the flesh as we see fit to worship and be Church, nor convince us that gathering ‘cybernetically” and virtually is the way to go for the future of worship.

Our Shepherds must heed St. Paul’s advice given in his letter to the Hebrews 10:25, concerning “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together.”

And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.            [Matthew 16:19]

“And though one may be overpowered, two can resist. Moreover, a cord of three strands is not quickly broken. [[Ecclesiastes 4:12]

JESUS:  “….where two or three are gathered together in my name,
there am I in the midst of them.”

Where is the ‘midst’ in cyberspace?

SUMMARY

There will be new efforts to undermine us come soon, and the goal will be to make us think we can be “spiritual enough” on their terms – online – and Facebook is already at work deceiving the false shepherds into dragging the flock into his digital world:

The social media giant has rolled out a new prayer request feature, a tool embraced by some religious leaders as a cutting-edge way to engage the faithful online. Others are eyeing it warily as they weigh its usefulness against the privacy and security concerns they have with Facebook.

“In Facebook Groups employing the feature, members can use it to rally prayer power for upcoming job interviews, illnesses and other personal challenges big and small. After they create a post, other users can tap an “I prayed” button, respond with a “like” or other reaction, leave a comment or send a direct message. Facebook began testing it in the U.S. in December as part of an ongoing effort to support faith communities, according to a statement attributed to a company spokesperson….During the COVID-19 pandemic we’ve seen many faith and spirituality communities using our services to connect, so we’re starting to explore new tools to support them,” it said.”

If you feel inclined to be “suspicious” these days, here’s something to chew on: be suspicious that if all of a sudden strong and good relationships are suddenly about end for good because of a series of serendipitous events – SUSPECT THE DEVIL AND HIS MINIONS.

We truly are in the days of Noah – the last days – when on a given day a person may just decide to forget about God and all that spiritual stuff, forget about all the lies and confusion in the world, get rid of all the ‘stressful’ relationships and try to have a bit of “down-to-earth” fun for a change – damn it!  As the commentator at “GotQuestions noted:

“Jesus was pointing out that, although the people of Noah’s day were totally depraved, they were not the least bit concerned about it. They were carrying on the events of their lives without a single thought of the judgment of God. Noah is described as a “preacher of righteousness” (2 Peter 2:5), meaning he had spent years warning his friends and neighbors what the Holy God was about to do. No one listened.”

Perhaps not the time for a holiday eh?…. with a divine moment of decision-making that might decide our eternal fate facing us all imminently, wars, mass deaths and cataclysmic cosmic events .

So let’s do what we can to repair the breaches, not create new ones. Get out of your imagination and flee to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Trust the instincts that tell you that the fact that it is no longer possible to trust those in our public positions of leadership because of their great and ongoing deception of us, that DOES NOT TRANSLATE into any grounds for also carrying that same attitude of suspicion into our relationships.

Don’t gossip – like Pope Francis tells us – and you’ll be fine, and hopefully not found guilty of allowing the forces of evil to effect their murderous intentions through you in these last days, unknowingly participating and supporting demonic efforts to destroy the Kingdom of God.

We are to build the Kingdom of God, heal breaches, not be suspicious and worried about our self – we are to die to self and work for the Lord, and surrender ourselves completely to the care and inspiration of God’s Holy Spirit in imitation of Jesus.

Do go to the person ‘PRIVATELY’ as Jesus taught, and take the subsequent measures he tells us to take when there appears to be something that the other person did that ‘hurt us’ – or what looks like ‘sin’  to us:

“…whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven,
and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

Most completely misinterpret the meaning of this because they think of it in terms of having authority and power, when I don’t believe it has anything to do with that at all. I believe Jesus was simply stating a fact: we have a choice to make  – all of us – we can allow Satan to “unbind” what we bind together as we work at forging strong relationships based on loving and being kind to one another in the Spirit of God, or we can take Jesus’ advice and go to that person to do everything we can to make sure that doesn’t happen.

There can indeed be a “permanence” to some of the decisions and actions we make “on earth” that ripple on for eternity.

DAILY PRAYER

“Jesus, we ask for your protection against the wiles and deceptions of the evil one and all demonic beings as they make their final effort to destroy what you are building for eternity. We trust in your triumph over evil and ask that you give us the peace that evaporates all fear and anxiety, the ingredients the evil one uses to confuse and deceive us.

Bind our hearts to Your Sacred Heart, secure and confident to detect and not be influenced by the deadly poison of suspicion, and bind our tongue to never gossip, or make  accusations against anyone publicly that are not based soundly on documentary evidence and have political or public significance, or to other people within our own circles of friends and family, and that we have the courage to reach out directly to talk to the people we feel inclined to talk about to other people.” Amen.
