In my post earlier this morning, I mentioned that I’d post a link to a one hour long video podcast that elaborates on an important but seldom-discussed topic – how what is happening in our world fulfills prophecies from the old and new testaments about the return of ‘evil’ to the earth in the end times.

What that looks like and how it happens has to do with the lifting of the “restrainer” as mentioned in Scripture, and the subsequent “short” period of time Satan has to show his hand before God’s great, miraculous intervention in history, beginning with the “Illumination of Conscience”.

In his second epistle to the Thessalonians, Paul assured the church that they were not yet living in the Day of the Lord, that is, the end times’ judgment had not yet begun. In 2 Thessalonians 2:3 he says, “Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.”

According to God’s timetable, the “Day of the Lord” and the accompanying judgment will not start until two things happen: a global rebellion occurs and the Antichrist is revealed.

Paul then mentions what is currently keeping the evil in check: “And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed” (verses 6–8).

Without getting into questions like “who or what is the ‘restrainer'” here, let’s just note for the record that the RESTRAINER HAS NOW BEEN LIFTED!

I have not read the book by Jonathan Cahn – the cover is attached as an image, however, I’ve listened to the podcast and I’ve read several summaries, so would simply say that I believe the author of the book (and guest of the podcast – same person) is mostly correct in his interpretation and theological presentation of the situation; however, I find some of his language and presentation of ideas on these sensitive spiritual issues is likely to confuse some people more than illuminate on some key points.

To give one example, his entire framing of ‘demons possessing culture’ needs to be understood properly, which most won’t be able to do unless it is articulated carefully and properly for them, because part of the ‘deception’ happening is with very ‘framing’ of the issues in such a way as to never allow a person to truly come to transformative insights regarding the ‘deep truths’ they really need to access.

In the case of the concept of “demons possessing culture” most will (because of that ‘false framing’) OBJECTIFY that concept or idea in their mind, regarding it as something happening ‘out there’ in society, i.e., “culture’ becomes an objective ‘thing’ (which it is not) rather than an explanatory concept for the complex dynamics happening within consciousness).

As I mentioned in a recent post, Satan’s minions are both angelic fallen angels and humans following a pagan worldview (the devil’s religion). I clarified that the ‘works’ of the devil in the world are done by people influenced by those demons, whereas, being ‘spiritual in nature’, demons operate in the realm of human consciousness.

Demons are ‘possessing our culture’ alright, but how that happens has to do with the Mass Psy-op and the dynamics of our collective unconscious and is entirely an INTERIOR experience operationally, not something happening out there ‘in culture’ – that is the result, the VISIBLE expression of the INVISIBLE evil (the nature of demonic sacrifice).

With those two caveats – (1) I haven’t read the actual book, and (2) some things stated need further elucidation for the clarity those ideas and concepts deserve (given the ‘go-to’ perceptions that will likely be false that will occur otherwise), I would nonetheless recommend this video to anyone who believes what Jesus said about the unleashing of evil in the end-times and how that would result in a perplexing grand deception that would result in many ‘worshipping pagan gods’ rather than the ONE-TRUE GOD.
