A Tribute to Brave Women Everywhere
End-times Spiritual Warfare is a “Revolution in the Heart”
and Women are on the Frontlines

Back in 1979 I was in the middle of living for 2 years as a hermit at the Trappist monastery in Rogersville, New Brunswick.
I milked cows at 3:30 am each day, then for the rest of time, I worked on a book manuscript on Scripture with a Third Order Carmelite hermit at the monastery, (a medical doctor who served in the second world war, as well as missions in Africa), Brother Anthony Opisso.
I had the opportunity at that time to go with Brother Anthony to New York to meet with the book publisher. When there, while walking past a huge cathedral one day, we saw a bunch of women going up the steps, on their knees, stopping at each step to say a prayer.
I’ll never forget Anthony’s comment, with a big appreciative smile on his face, as we glanced up at those women:
“They’re keeping the wrath of God from descending on us!”
Indeed!
As the turbulent waters in this great end-times storm continue to rise (likened by Jesus to the “Days of Noah”) it is WOMEN OF FAITH AND ACTION keeping us afloat.
The descent into complete chaos and anarchy is truly being “stayed” by the graces coming to us from the heart-felt prayers of these women, and by their powerful witness and dedicated service of love to others.
Their tireless efforts, hard work and perseverance for good is seen by, and gives strength to MANY others.
When I think of the price that so many of these nobel women in PEI have had to pay for their fidelity to the truth and their brave actions and all the suffering they have endured during the last 3 years – [you can pause and bring to mind the women fitting this bill who you know in your own life here] – some even losing their jobs, many suffering as a result of alienation and abuse from other family members for their standing up for the truth, etc., when I ponder that on this day honoring women internationally, I truly marvel at their courage, and I am thankful for their never wavering in their commitment to the truth.
Tears come to my eyes when I recall what some women who I personally know have suffered, those who I have brought to mind on this day honoring women.
I wish I could give them all a rose today.
As the world celebrates the wealthy and the famous and the semi-clad and gyrating teen idols on stages around the world presenting themselves to little girls everywhere as “models to emulate,” I sincerely pray that girls and young women in Prince Edward Island will find the kind of “female adult model” to follow that I’ve described.
To find them, you’ll have to enter the Battle Zone first, of course, because that’s where they are…on the front lines!
